Overweight is a complex problem. This means that we look at the problem much broader than just calorie intake and energy expenditure.  What exactly your child needs in terms of nutrients depends on his or her age, activities and personal situation. When your child is struggling with his or her weight, it may be difficult to change his/her behaviors. There are solutions.  We help you understand the “why” and help you with the “how” to help your child.

Did your child just receive a diagnosis of coeliac disease or NCGS? Do not panic! Gluten-free diet requires some experience, but with our gluten free kids program you will get the hang of it! Gluten-free lunchbox, treats, coeliac talk at school, on holiday with coeliac disease, groceries, product choices and many more. We are happy to help you! Get in touch with us!

Children with autoimmune conditions such as Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) or Diabetes type 1 need specific therapy. This therapy is a special blend of adjustments in your child's diet, stress level and lifestyle to restore your child's immune system so that he or she can experience good health again.

Food hypersensitivity is divided into two forms: allergic food hypersensitivity and non-allergic food hypersensitivity. The allergic form is also called a food allergy and the non-allergic form is also called a food intolerance. An allergic food hypersensitivity is treated by removing foods containing the allergen from your child's diet. Non-allergic food hypersensitivity is treated by an elimination and reintroducing diet. For the right nutritional therapy approach please contact us.

Our dietician coaches children and their parents. Because only if you set a good example yourself, your children will learn healthy eating habits. But then it is important to know what those good habits are and how you can transfer them to your child. You will learn exactly how to do this during our guidance. Every child is very welcome, with small and big questions!

As a parent, you may wonder how to help your child or teen with their weight. On one hand,  you worry that if you say nothing, you could miss a chance to help your child with their health. On the other hand, you risk shaming your child or possibly causing a pattern of disordered eating.  If you do not know exactly how to do this, we are at your service with all questions regarding your schoolchild and teens.

There are several reasons for seeing a dietitian. For example, because your child has a bowel reaction. stomach pain or diarrhea. Maybe, because there is a food hypersensitivity? Or just not the right food habits?

Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.
